Meditation Monday

On this Meditation Monday ...

Sit.

Take a few deep breaths to quiet yourself—to relax your body and slow your thoughts.

Let stillness wash over you.

Open your mind, open your heart, and let Love in.

May these words wash over you and bring you peace ...

Every relationship has a holy purpose.
Each encounter, each intimate union
provides our soul with an opportunity to grow.
Through our interactions with others,
we are gifted with the chance to transform ourself
into the highest self we can be.

The Universe partners us with those individuals
with whom soul healing may occur.
Discover what it is you are to learn from this person
and they, in return, from you.

As we seek the deeper meaning in our relationships,
we become more cognizant of the plan Spirit has for us.*

As always, I welcome anything your heart wishes to say ...

And today, may you be take pleasure and find ease with your life as it is ...

The countdown begins! There are only 7 more days to sign-up for Buddha Chick™, my new 10-week online course. Class begins Sept. 27 and goes through Dec. 5.

An amazing group of women is gathering and I bow to their beauty. What a pleasure to journey with each other in this way!

You are a “Buddha Chick™” whether you feel like it or not. She is an interspiritual gal with a calm demeanor and a smile in her heart, able to navigate the challenges of life with grace and ease.

I am looking forward to showing you how to embrace her. To let go of fear, worry, and anxiety—once and for all!—and sail through life with greater ease. To greet life, no matter how it shows up, with a relaxed body, clear open mind, and a warm, loving heart. It is absolutely possible to live in this way!

Please join me for this transformational course, complete with personal spiritual mentoring. Learn more about it here.

Oh My, Jan. You have no idea how eerily relevant this is for me, in this very moment. Sometimes I think you must have a peephole into my soul...

"Every relationship has a holy purpose" Your opening sentence just tugged on my heart immediately Mane. EVERY single one has a holy purpose. This is something that is so easily forgotten when a relationship is complicated/difficult/painful...but the truth, of course is that these are often the relationships that open us to what our souls are yearning to learn...the exact reason we were born into this life. Thanks again for your beautiful words of wisdom dear one.

They say whatever doesn't kill you just makes you stronger. I think your words are more kind.

As I develop an intimate relationship with myself, every being I meet becomes a teacher, a light that offers some profound wisdom if I am willing to embrace them with my six senses.

Coleen,
Well I am certainly glad this helped. One never knows where a glimmer of light will show up. Blessings!

Laura,
Like you, I believe that every one is dear, even when difficult, because it is a calling from our soul toward wholeness.

Mermaid,
I continue to be inspired by your journey...I love what you say, that self-intimacy does lead us toward "other intimacy."

Thank you for visiting my blog, and your kind words :)

One of the most pivotal lessons I've been learning, is the very one you write about here in such a powerful way - seeing myself in others. All others! :)

Once I was willing to accept that, both the light and the dark of it, my entire way of relating shifted.

Thank you for sharing this!

Hi Jan .. I love your peaceful words .. we do so desperately need to be quiet .. relax and be at one with oneself ..

Thank you for those wise phrases .. lovely to read and think upon .. Hilary

I believe what you wrote in first sentence of your poem/prayer.

Therefore, when dealing with some who seem to be difficult/challenging, I am inspired to breathe and stretch and look beyond what is right before my eyes.

Grace,
Thank you for sharing this. There are always so many "lessons" calling to us but this one - of seeing the Sacred in all beings - may be the ultimate, yet?
Blessings to you!

Hilary,
Yes, silence and rest and solitude so important for our well-being.....Taking well-intentioned breaks throughout the day to restore ourselves. May you create some today!

And this is why I need your Buddha Chick course ~ I don't understand what I learn by being repeatedly left at the edge of the lives of people I love the most. It is hard to take pleasure in life as it is when that often means being left alone in silence. I am learning to be better company to myself but that makes for long, lonely days.

I feel the same as Sharon. I really need the Buddha Chick course for more understanding. Some of my most difficult relationships are with the people I love the most.
